Andre & Alicia’s Story
We are Alicia and Andre, a married couple in our early forties. We met in 2008 and have been married since 2011. We have always wanted to be parents and have always wanted to grow our family through adoption. We are very excited about also growing our extended family through open adoption and giving a child the opportunity to have so much love from so many people that care about them.
Alicia works as a legal assistant/paralegal and has worked in this position for 17 years. She currently enjoys working primarily from home. She is very caring and always looks out for others and willing to offer great advice when requested. Alicia is the planner of the family and can’t wait to include a child and new extended family in our plans for the future.
Andre’s occupation is an owner/operator long haul truck driver for 6 years. Andre is very motivated and driven to create a great future for our family. Andre works hard to ensure our family will have everything we need to create the best life. He is very compassionate and always ready and willing to give a helping hand to whoever is in need whenever he can. Once we have a child join our family Andre looks forward to shortening his drives and being able to spend more quality time with our family.
When not working we are often spending time with our two dogs at home and in the warmer months out in the yard either in the garden or having an evening fire. We also enjoy spending quality time with our family and friends that we are so grateful for.
We are very excited to welcome a child into our lives and sharing this amazing journey with our child’s birth family.
