We are absolutely elated to announce the arrival of our son, Mason Keith Hart-Moore, born November 13, 2020!
We had just started our work day the morning of Nov 10th when we received our call from Chantelle with Adoption Options. She told us we had been chosen by a birth mother who would be giving birth in just a few short days! With great excitement and a little nervousness we headed for Calgary immediately the next day, stopping to buy a car-seat, bassinet and what we thought would be enough baby items to get us started with our new baby. We arrived at the hospital the morning of Friday the 13th for the scheduled C-section and within minutes our healthy new little baby boy was placed in our arms. We’ve never been more overwhelmed with excitement and emotions than we were that day, it has really been the most amazing experience we could have hoped for. The birth family was wonderful, gracious, and kind and we cannot thank Mason’s brave birth-mom enough for bringing him into this world and choosing to place him in our arms! Rockyview General Hospital; Robin, Tanya, Nicole and Claudette who took the absolute best care of Mason (and his Dads!). Adoption Options has been a dream to work with. Our wait on the adoption list was shorter than we expected and we are extremely grateful. The helpfulness, support, and professionalism of Chantelle, Erika and the entire team have helped to make our family dreams a reality.
Mason is a dream come true and a perfect addition for our family!
