Matthew and I are excited to announce the addition of Omari to our family. Big brothers Isaac and Ezra are so proud. We have so much gratitude to Omari’s mom for choosing life and our family for her son. This is our third adoption but our first instant placement. What an amazing experience to be pulled out of Zoom meetings to be informed you’ve been chosen to parent a child and then home to Calgary from Edmonton as a family of five 12 hours later. This is also our first adoption through Adoption Options. Thank you Sheryl, Chantal, Rebecca, and Melinda for being so kind and educating and encouraging us along the way. You were always available no matter how many times we called. And a special thank you to Nathalie for supporting our son’s first mother, walking us through an adoption during a pandemic, and supporting us after placement.
