Waiting Families
Adam and Erika met in 2014, getting to know each other through a shared love of 1920s-1940s dance and culture. They continued to bond over a love of all things sci-fi and by 2016 were
dating and then married in 2017.
Wanting to start a family, Adam and Erika discussed all of their options from having children by birth as well as by adoption. When they discovered having a family by birth wouldn’t work for them, they shifted their attention to focus on adoption.
Adam and Erika have created a loving home with their dog Wilson, ready to welcome a child or two and probably more dogs at some point as well! Erika works as an administrator and in her spare time enjoys crafting and organizing. Adam runs two businesses as a music teacher/performer and as a contractor in custom woodworking and interior finishing. In his spare time he enjoys playing video games. Wilson works as a professional attention seeker; he loves kids and other dogs, and in his spare time he sleeps or pouts when he’s out of things to do.
Both Adam and Erika still enjoy dance and can often be found at the Sugar Swing Ballroom. Wilson sure wishes he could go along.
