Why Adoption Matters? Because it does! Now let’s show the world how much Adoption Matters. It matters to expectant parents who are looking for a positive solution to an unplanned pregnancy. It matters to couples who are looking for another way to create or add to their family. But most of all it matters to children who are waiting for a family to call their own forever!

Why Adoption Matters? Because here at Adoption Options, adoption really matters to us. Our agency is unique in that a large percentage of our staff are adoptive parents, birthparents, and adopted persons. So adoption really matters to us in a very personal, daily way. We bring that care and passion to our work and try for the best adoption practice possible.

Why Adoption Matters? We could rest on our laurels and go on happily placing newborns with childless couples but, because adoption matters to us, we are involved with placing the older children who wait. We work in partnership with Alberta Children’s Services to place some of their waiting children, to prepare homestudies for waiting families in several regions and, jointly with Adoption By Choice, to provide The Adoptive Parent Preparation Course in Calgary.

Why Adoption Matters? As a licensed adoption agency we have the luxury of concentrating on nothing but adoption. This puts us in the enviable position of being able to respond very quickly with very real expertise when called on by the wider community. We look forward to doing that more and more in the future.
